Job requirements of an Engineering Stores operative:We are looking for a Engineering Stores operative to join our established Stores team at Cranswick Country Foods Fresh Poultry in Eye, Suffolk. You will be responsible for the stores department within Engineering.

Shift Pattern – 05.30-17.30, working 2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off on a fortnightly rotation.

Duties

· Receive, check, and book in deliveries against purchase orders

· Store materials safely and in an organised manner

· Pick and issue parts to the production team as required

· Maintain accurate stock records and assist with stock counts

· Liaise with purchasing and production teams regarding stock levels

· Prepare goods for dispatch where required

· Ensure the stores area is clean, tidy, and compliant with health & safety standards.

What you will need:

· Previous experience in a stores, warehouse, or logistics role

· Good organisational skills and attention to detail

· Basic IT skills for stock control systems

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Good communication skills

Pay and benefits:

· Rate of Pay £29,000-£31,000 depending on experience
