Summary
Business Development Manager
Full-time, permanent role
Mix between office in Hertfordshire & travelling to meetings
Need to have strong construction experience
Key Responsibilities
Research market trends, track upcoming capital projects, and spot emerging sector opportunities (e.g., residential, commercial & education).
Manage a strong sales/tender pipeline, qualify incoming inquiries, and proactively pitch services or products.
Collaborate with estimating, commercial, and bid teams to shape winning proposals, PQQ (Pre-Qualification Questionnaire) responses, and presentations.
Lead commercial discussions, negotiate terms with clients, and hand over secured projects smoothly to the operational delivery team.
Track sales forecasts, CRM data, conversion rates, and competitor activity for senior leadership.
