We're now looking for a Supply Planning Manager to join our Impulse division. This is a fantastic opportunity for a supply chain professional who thrives in a fast-paced FMCG environment and enjoys balancing customer demand, operational capability, and inventory optimisation.

If you enjoy solving complex planning challenges, influencing stakeholders, and driving supply chain performance, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Supply Planning, you will be responsible for leading and optimising the end-to-end supply planning process across the Impulse category.

You'll play a critical role in ensuring products are available to customers while balancing inventory levels, production capacity, supply risks, and cost efficiencies.

Working across supply chain, manufacturing, procurement, logistics, finance, and commercial teams, you'll be at the heart of driving performance and supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the supply planning process to ensure customer demand is met efficiently and effectively.

- Align supply plans with forecasts, promotions, and commercial activity.

- Manage stock levels to maximise product availability while minimising waste and working capital.

- Work closely with manufacturing teams and third-party suppliers to optimise production plans and capacity.

- Partner with procurement to ensure raw material availability and mitigate supply risks.

- Lead the supply planning element of the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.

- Identify potential capacity constraints and develop mitigation plans.

- Monitor key supply chain KPIs including OTIF, stockholding, forecast accuracy, and inventory performance.

- Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions to improve supply chain performance.

- Collaborate with logistics, finance, customer service, and commercial teams to ensure alignment on business priorities.

- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives that improve planning accuracy, service levels, and efficiency.

- Use data and analytics to support informed decision-making and proactive planning.

About You

You'll be a confident planner with strong analytical skills and a proven ability to manage complexity in a fast-moving environment.

You'll ideally have:

- Previous supply planning experience within FMCG, food manufacturing, or a similar fast-paced industry.

- Strong understanding of supply chain planning principles and systems.

- Experience managing large SKU portfolios and complex planning environments.

- Advanced Excel and data analysis capability.

- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

- Experience within S&OP and integrated business planning processes.

- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

- A continuous improvement mindset with a focus on delivering results.

- Knowledge of lean principles and supply chain best practice.

What You'll Get

- £40,000 - £45,000 salary

- Car allowance

- Annual bonus scheme

- Competitive pension

- Holiday purchase options

- Employee reward and recognition programmes

- Career development opportunities within one of the UK's largest chilled food manufacturers
