This role is considered a senior member of the operational team within the Directorate and will be working closely with Lead Nurses and Clinical Leads as part of the service triumvirate. We are looking for an individual that can demonstrate a strong understanding of core operational principles such as waiting list management, rota coordination, maximising utilisation, service improvement, financial and budget management, patient flow and management of risks, DATIX and complaints. The role is busy and requires strong leadership skills, high attention to detail and good organisation skills.

The post will cover Dermatology and Rheumatology. The postholder will work closely with the service and general management team, the clinical director, senior  nurses, clinical and nursing specialty leads, administrative, consultant and nursing teams and the wider multidisciplinary team as required. The postholder will be a key member of the service leadership team including making key day-to-day decisions and managing key workflows and pathways.
