Summary

Job Title: 7.5 Tonne Driver- Collections & Deliveries - Manual Handling required (loading and unloading parcels)

Location: Kirkliston

Employment: PAYE & Limited companies accepted

Pay Rate: £15 per hour

Shifts: Various shifts available - Monday to Friday: 06:00 start

Experience: 6 months commercial driving = preferred

Ignition Driver Recruitment are looking for reliable, experienced 7.5 Tonne Drivers to join our team in Kirkliston to work with our client, who are a beverage distribution company.

HGV 7.5 Tonne Driver - The role & responsibilities:

- Driving a 7.5 tonne vehicle

- Delivering alcohol to stores and hospitality venues

- Collections (handball and pallet)

- Cage Work

- Loading + unloading parcels

- Standard route paperwork

- Pre & post route vehicle checks

About you:

You will have your full UK Driving Licence and at least 12 months experience in commercial driving in a 7.5 tonne vehicle. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi-tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we can not accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements. As a professional driver, you will have a good knowledge of the Working Time Directive and be able to manage your hours accordingly.

You will be a UK resident (we are unable to assist people with VISAs) and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift.
