Duties of the Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester:

- Conduct MOT tests on Class 4 and Class 7 vehicles following legal and safety standards

- Undertake servicing, repairs, and maintenance across a wide range of vehicles

- Diagnose faults accurately and recommend required repairs

- Communicate technical information clearly to customers

- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard

- Maintain detailed records in accordance with company procedures

- Uphold excellent customer service standards to foster long-term relationships

- Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the workshop environment

Requirements of the Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester:

- Valid Class 4 and Class 7 MOT licence

- Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair

- Minimum of two years’ experience in automotive servicing and MOT testing

- Full UK driving licence

- Strong diagnostic skills and mechanical knowledge

- Excellent communication and customer service capabilities

- Professional, flexible, and team-oriented approach
