This is a practical, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors and as part of a busy team.Key responsibilities• Loading and unloading equipment and materials• Moving items safely around the yard• Preparing equipment for collection, delivery or use• Carrying out basic checks and reporting any damage or issues• Keeping the yard, storage areas and equipment clean, tidy and organised• Following site safety procedures and manual-handling guidance• Supporting colleagues with general yard and operational dutiesSkills and experience• Previous yard, warehouse, stores or industrial experience is useful• A practical approach and good awareness of workplace safety• Ability to carry out physical work and handle equipment safely• Reliable, punctual and willing to work as part of a team• Good organisation and attention to detail• A flexible attitude towards varied day-to-day tasksQualificationsNo formal qualification is specified for this position.
