Its Bristol operation supports local delivery requirements and provides equipment hire services for a variety of projects. The company also manages the transport of hired equipment to customers and work locations.Key responsibilities• Carry out local deliveries and collections using a 7.5-tonne vehicle• Complete local drops safely, efficiently and on schedule• Load and secure equipment using load straps• Operate a taillift safely and correctly• Check loads before departure and report any issues• Complete delivery paperwork and provide professional customer service• Keep the vehicle and equipment clean and presentable• Follow company, road safety and manual handling proceduresSkills and qualifications• Valid licence to drive a 7.5-tonne vehicle• Relevant Driver Certificate of Professional Competence and Driver Qualification Card, where applicable• Previous experience with local delivery work is desirable• Confident using load straps and a taillift• Good knowledge of Bristol and surrounding areas• Safe, responsible and punctual approach to work• Physically capable of handling delivery-related duties• Good communication skills and a professional mannerBenefits• Permanent employment• Day shifts• Pay between £14 and £16 per hour• Paid every WednesdayIf you are an experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver looking for a permanent day-shift opportunity in Bristol, apply today.
