Summary

Your new company

You will be joining a well-established law firm with a strong reputation in the social housing sector, offering a supportive and collaborative working environment from its Manchester office.

Your new role

You will handle a varied caseload of housing litigation matters, including:

Defending housing disrepair claims

Possession proceedings, including cases involving complex defences

Anti-social behaviour injunctions

Environmental Protection Act matters

Residential leasehold and shared ownership disputes

Representing clients at hearings where appropriate

Working closely with and supporting junior members of the team

What you'll need to succeed

You will be a qualified solicitor with experience gained within housing litigation, ideally through a training seat or post-qualification role.You should have a good understanding of housing law and be comfortable managing a varied caseload. Advocacy experience would be beneficial, alongside strong communication skills and the ability to provide clear, practical advice to clients.
