We are currently seeking an experienced
Site Manager to
oversee the early stages of a new-build housing development in Shrewsbury.
This role is specifically suited to a Site Manager with proven experience managing the initial stages of a new-build housing development, with a strong background in streetworks, civil engineering and groundworks. Experience of taking a development from the initial site setup and infrastructure stages is absolutely essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the early stages of a new-build housing development, from initial site setup through to infrastructure and groundworks.
- Overseeing streetworks, civils and groundworks packages.
- Coordinating subcontractors, labour and site activities to ensure works are delivered safely and efficiently.
- Monitoring programme progress and ensuring works are completed to the required quality standards and timescales.
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety across the site.
- Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers and the wider project team.
- Ensuring all site documentation, inspections and health and safety procedures are kept up to date.
Essential Requirements
- Valid SMSTS certificate.
- Valid First Aid certificate.
- Valid CSCS card.
- Excellent organisational, communication and subcontractor management skills.
- Must be readily available to start and committed through to Christmas at a minimum.
Proven experience as a Site Manager on new-build housing developments, specifically at the start of a development.
Strong experience with streetworks, civils and groundworks is essential.
