Summary

We currently have a new opportunity for a dynamic and flexible Associate Teacher to support our staff and students by delivering lessons and supervision.Job overviewYou will be providing cover supervision and in-class support to other learning activities. Assisting with lunchtime supervision and after school and break duties as part of the rota. Offering after school enrichment activities and assisting with the House tutorial programme as a co-tutor.The right candidate will have:At least 5 GCSE's, Post 16+ higher qualificationsHigh expectations of personal performance and of pupils’ successExperience of resolving problems and handling challenging situationsSolid communication skills and the ability to successfully manage classroom behaviour and focusAbility to establish and maintain good professional relationships with adults and young people and to deal with difficult situations sensitivelyWhy join us?At Sidney Stringer Academy, you’ll be working alongside a passionate team, and will have the ability to help shape teaching and learning standards and make a real difference.
