ct Data & Reporting Coordinator

Are you passionate about data, automation and finding smarter ways of working?

Our client is looking for a proactive and technically minded Project Data & Reporting Coordinator to join a forward-thinking team focused on improving project processes, reporting and digital ways of working. This is much more than a traditional reporting role. You'll have the opportunity to shape processes, automate workflows and develop digital solutions, using data and technology to make project management more efficient, transparent and effective. If you enjoy solving problems, working with data and exploring how automation and AI can improve the way a business operates, this could be an excellent opportunity.

What will you be doing?

Lead the analysis and continuous improvement of project management processes; Coordinate data, information and reporting, identifying opportunities to introduce automation, artificial intelligence and optimisation across Excel, SQL, SharePoint and Teams; Design, develop and maintain robust digital solutions that streamline workflows and improve transparency and operational efficiency; Support, enhance and migrate existing Excel/VBA automation tools onto more strategic and sustainable platforms, including standard and bespoke applications; Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, specifications and training materials; Train and support end users, helping teams confidently adopt new functionality and digital solutions; Help shape the team's working methods and structures, taking advantage of a flexible environment to drive innovation and continuous improvement; Independently create, manage and refine user stories within JIRA, ensuring requirements, progress and roadblocks are clearly documented.

What are we looking for?

We're looking for someone who combines strong analytical ability with a genuine interest in technology, automation and continuous improvement.

Ideally, you'll bring:

A proactive and curious mindset with a passion for continuous learning, quality and process improvement; Strong experience across Microsoft 365 applications and services; Experience producing data and business reporting using Power BI or similar tools; Strong technical data skills, with experience in areas such as Excel/VBA, JSON, Python and SQL; Familiarity with SAP, SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams administration would be advantageous; Experience using JIRA, including independently creating, managing and refining user stories; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn data into meaningful insights and actions; Excellent communication skills and the confidence to work across technical, business and IT teams; The ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently and consistently deliver high-quality results.Experience or an interest in enterprise architecture, cloud platforms and data integration would be an advantage.

Why consider this opportunity?

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to combine data, reporting, automation and process improvement rather than simply producing reports. You'll have genuine scope to influence how projects and information are managed, improve existing tools and processes and help introduce smarter digital solutions across the business. For someone who enjoys Power BI, Excel/VBA, SQL, Python, automation, AI and Microsoft 365, while also enjoying the stakeholder and project side of a role, this offers an interesting mix of technical and business-facing responsibilities.
