Summary

Senior Quantity Surveyor - Sizewell C

Job Type: Permanent

Location: Sizewell C, Suffolk

Salary: £65,000 - £75,000 + Company Car + Private Healthcare + Gym Membership + Performance Bonus

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Taking full commercial ownership of key Sizewell C accounts from award through to final account

  • Administering NEC3 and NEC4 contracts across multiple work packages

  • Managing CVRs, cost reporting, forecasting and cash flow performance

  • Leading valuations, payment applications and commercial negotiations

  • Preparing and agreeing compensation events, variations, remeasures and extensions of time

  • Providing contractual advice to project and operational teams

  • Identifying commercial risks and opportunities and implementing mitigation strategies

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, alliance partners and stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related discipline (mandatory)

  • Minimum 5-8 years' Quantity Surveying experience within construction, civil engineering, geotechnical or specialist subcontracting sectors

  • Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience administering NEC3/4 contracts, including Options A, B, C and E

  • At least 3 years' experience operating at Senior Quantity Surveyor level

Required Skills:

  • Excellent communication, report-writing and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to obtain and maintain BPSS/SC security clearance for the Sizewell C project

  • Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel regularly to site

  • Advanced MS Excel skills

  • Experience using commercial management platforms such as CEMAR, Oracle Unifier or FastDraft would be advantageous
