Recovery Worker, Drug & Alcohol Services, Liverpool

Are you passionate about helping people break the cycle of addiction and rebuild their lives? If so, we may have the ideal role for you.

We are looking for an experienced Recovery Worker to join a drug and alcohol service in Liverpool, supporting individuals to overcome substance misuse challenges and make lasting, positive changes.

Responsibilities of the Recovery Worker include:

Managing a caseload of individuals accessing drug and alcohol services

Delivering 1:1 recovery support, harm reduction and relapse prevention interventions

Developing personalised recovery plans and support individuals towards their goals

Working alongside healthcare, housing and other support services to achieve positive outcomes

Completing assessments, maintain case records and monitor progress

Candidates for the role of Recovery Worker will need:

Previous hands-on experience in a drug and alcohol recovery role is essential

Strong knowledge of substance misuse, harm reduction and recovery pathways

Confident managing caseloads and delivering recovery-focused interventions

A proactive, compassionate and non-judgemental approach
