Summary
Could you help people feel more confident about their energy choices and make a real difference to their homes, bills and future?
At the Wise Group, we work alongside people and communities to create positive, lasting change. As a delivery partner for Home Energy Scotland, commissioned by Energy Saving Trust, we provide trusted, impartial energy advice that helps households understand their options and take practical steps towards warmer, more energy-efficient homes.
We are looking for a Mentor who can combine excellent customer service with the ability to listen, build trust and explain information clearly.
This is a varied, people-focused role. You might be supporting someone over the phone with their energy costs, helping a household understand heating or renewable options, attending a community event, or guiding a customer through the next steps that are right for them.
You'll also help build positive relationships with local organisations and partners, making it easier for people to access advice and ensuring that what we learn from customers helps improve our services.
If you enjoy helping people, solving problems and turning information into practical support, this is a role where you can make a real difference every day.
What you'll do
Provide tailored energy advice and support to customers by telephone, email and face to face.
Help customers understand energy efficiency, heating, renewables and tariffs in a clear and practical way.
Build positive relationships with customers and support them to make informed choices.
Represent Home Energy Scotland professionally at community events and partner forums, building relationships that help more households access trusted energy advice.
Manage your own caseload, maintain accurate CRM records and work towards agreed targets.
Share customer insight, learning and ideas that help improve customer experience and service quality.
Support colleagues and contribute positively to the wider Home Energy Scotland team.
