Summary

We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to head up our client's Street Scene, Waste & Recycling services. This is a key senior management role responsible for delivering high-quality, clean and green services, shaping future service provision, and driving continuous improvement for residents and communities.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the operational delivery of Street Scene, Waste & Recycling services, including street cleansing, grounds maintenance, tree services and waste collection.
Develop and implement service strategies, policies and improvement programmes.
Oversee the client's Waste Strategy, ensuring alignment with wider environmental objectives.
Manage budgets, resources, contracts and service performance to achieve value for money and excellent outcomes.
Build effective relationships with senior leaders, elected members, partners, contractors and trade unions.
Provide leadership during major incidents, emergencies and business continuity events.
Contribute as a member of the senior management team.
