We are looking for a reliable Hygiene Operative to join our hygiene team within a busy food manufacturing environment.
Contract: PermanentType: Full time Rate of pay: £12.71 per hourHours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday 06:00 - 14:00 )Location: McVitie's, 54 Church Street, Carlisle, Cumbria, England, CA2 5TG
Key duties:
-Cleaning external silo areas and associated equipment
-Cleaning within silo basement areas
-Removing flour/dust build-up and maintaining high hygiene standards
-Completing scheduled cleaning tasks safely and thoroughly
-Following site Health & Safety, hygiene and dust-control procedures
-Reporting any defects, damage or hygiene concerns
Please note: This role does not involve entering or cleaning inside the silos.
Experience within industrial or food manufacturing hygiene would be beneficial, although training will be provided.
