Springvilla Care Limited is looking for a caring, organised and proactive Field Care Supervisor to join our team.
This is an important role for someone who understands that high-quality care starts with knowing the people we support, listening to their needs and ensuring our care workers deliver safe, respectful and person-centred care.
You will work in the community, visiting service users in their own homes, supporting care workers and helping ensure that care plans, risk assessments and agreed standards are followed.
The role will also include some on-call duties, providing support when urgent issues arise outside normal office hours.
Your key responsibilities

Carry out assessments of service users’ needs, preferences and circumstances.
Develop and review person-centred care plans and risk assessments.
Ensure documentation reflects people's current needs and agreed support arrangements.
Identify changes in needs and arrange appropriate reviews or escalation.
Field supervision and quality monitoring
Carry out spot checks and monitor the quality of care delivered in service users’ homes.
Check that care workers follow care plans, risk assessments and Springvilla procedures.
Provide guidance, support and constructive feedback to care workers.
Identify training needs and report poor practice or areas requiring improvement.
Obtain feedback from service users and review their experience of care.
Care quality and safeguarding
Recognise and report safeguarding concerns, incidents, accidents and changes in wellbeing.
Promote safe practice, including infection prevention, moving and handling and medication procedures where applicable.
Ensure concerns are recorded accurately and escalated without delay.
Support follow-up actions to maintain safe, effective care.
On-call duties and out-of-hours support
Participate in on-call duties as required by Springvilla's arrangements.
Respond to calls from care workers and provide guidance when urgent issues arise.
Help manage missed or failed visits, cancellations, refusals of care, staffing difficulties and service-user welfare concerns.
Take appropriate action within your authority and escalate emergencies or serious concerns.
Record actions and outcomes accurately and complete handovers where follow-up is required.
Follow Springvilla's Out-of-Hours Policy and Procedure.
Communication and administration
Maintain accurate records of assessments, reviews, spot checks, incidents and follow-up actions.
Communicate effectively with the Registered Manager, Care Coordinator, care workers and relevant professionals.
Share information appropriately to support continuity of care.

A varied role combining field supervision, quality monitoring and out-of-hours support.
