Are you semi retired or looking to work just one or two weeks each month? If so, this role might be just up your street! Our work is vital in enhancing the quality of life for our clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing personalised care and will be skilled in various caregiving tasks. We are seeking the right person to support a an amazingly interesting lady living locally in the Sussex . There are ample breaks and lots of support from our knowledgable Care and Relationship Managers.

Duties may include:

Provide assistance with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.

Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects or changes in condition.

Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.

Implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of each client, ensuring adherence to best practices in home care.

Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties as needed.

Cook with confidence and have knowledge around allergies and be able to adapt to preference

Provide specialised care for individuals,employing techniques that promote comfort and understanding.

Respond promptly to emergencies and provide first aid when necessary.

Qualifications

Previous experience in caregiving, particularly in senior care or childcare settings is preferred.

Knowledge of medication administration is highly desirable.

Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.

A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism at all times.
