Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced H&S Advisor on behalf of our client for a long-term contract opportunity in Royston.

- Start Date: ASAP (Immediate Start)

- Duration: Until at least the end of January 2027 (with potential for extension)

- Location: Full-time on-site (Non-hybrid) in Royston

- Pay Rate: Negotiable, dependent on experience

- Contract Type: Umbrella only (Inside IR35 / No LTD options available)

Key Responsibilities

- Provide day-to-day health and safety advice, guidance, and support to on-site delivery.

- Conduct regular site safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure full compliance with current legislation and site standards.

- Monitor, review, and assist in the drafting of Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).

- Investigate any on-site incidents or near-misses, ensuring root causes are identified and corrective actions are implemented.

- Promote a proactive safety culture on-site through toolbox talks, safety briefings, and direct engagement with the workforce.

Requirements

- Proven experience working as an H&S Advisor within an industrial, engineering, or construction site environment.

- Hold a relevant health and safety qualification (such as a NEBOSH General/Construction Certificate or equivalent).

- Ability to work full-time on-site consistently.
