Looking for a reliable Class 1 driving job with regular weekday hours and a consistent routine? We’re currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers in Grantham, offering ongoing work, regular daytime shifts and the opportunity to work with an established operation.

You’ll be responsible for completing deliveries and collections across your allocated routes, ensuring goods are transported safely and arrive within the required timeframes.

The role combines driving with customer-facing responsibilities, giving you the opportunity to work independently while representing the company professionally at each delivery point. Your duties will include following allocated routes and schedules, carrying out vehicle checks, ensuring loads are secure and managing your daily workload efficiently.

You’ll need to maintain high standards of road safety, communicate clearly with customers and ensure deliveries are completed reliably and professionally.

You must hold a valid UK HGV Class 1 licence with Category C+E entitlement, a valid Driver CPC and a Digital Tachograph Card. Previous HGV Class 1 driving experience is essential.

You’ll also need a good knowledge of UK roads and driving regulations, a reliable and professional attitude, and strong communication skills. The ability to work independently, manage your route efficiently and provide excellent customer service is important.

This is an ongoing temporary position offering consistent weekday hours, with continued work available for reliable drivers.

The position operates Monday to Friday, with early morning starts and regular daytime shifts. Additional hours may occasionally be required depending on the workload.

The role pays £16.00 per hour PAYE, with regular Monday-to-Friday work and consistent daytime shifts. You’ll also have the opportunity to accrue up to 28 days’ annual leave pro rata, alongside the benefit of ongoing work and a predictable weekday schedule.
