Summary

Your New Company

Our client is delivering a secure, enterprise-scale AI and analytics platform within a regulated public sector environment. The programme aims to enable scalable and production-ready AI and machine learning capabilities through modern cloud technologies and engineering best practices.

Your New Role

As a Data Engineer, you will design and develop integrations, event-driven ingestion pipelines, and data migration solutions to support a large-scale AI platform. Working within a cloud-native AWS environment, you will build reliable data movement processes, implement reconciliation mechanisms, and ensure data quality, scalability, and security throughout the platform.

What You'll Need to Succeed

Strong experience building integrations using APIs, webhooks, REST services, and event streams.

Hands-on experience with AWS services including API Gateway, Lambda, EventBridge, SQS, and DynamoDB.

Strong Python development skills for automation and data engineering.

Experience implementing reconciliation processes and state tracking.

Practical experience delivering data migration projects using AWS DMS or similar technologies.

Experience with Apache Airflow, dbt, Jira, or Confluence would be beneficial.
