We are currently looking for an enthusiastic
Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
to join our team for a January start at
Harris Primary Academy Beckenham
. Your role will be essential in shaping young minds, delivering planned cover lessons, and supporting pupils to achieve their best.

Responsibilities:
Delivering pre-planned cover lessons and small group interventions across the primary phase
Create a stimulating and supportive learning environment for pupils
Assess student progress during cover lessons and provide constructive feedback to class teachers
Ability to communicate with, engage, and encourage children with diverse learning needs
Collaborate with teaching staff to maintain consistent classroom and behavior management
Assist with pastoral care and maintain a safe, inclusive learning space
Requirements:
HLTA Status / Qualification is essential
Previous experience working in an education setting
2 years of employment references / relevant experience
An enhanced child DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one)
Right to work in the UK - Essential (sponsorship is not available with this role)
Strong knowledge of the UK Primary curriculum
Being passionate about teaching and supporting young learners
