Summary
Our client is a small but growing manufacturing business seeking a hands-on Supervisor to take ownership of their production operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work hands-on within the production team, including operating machinery
• Manage and coordinate all day-to-day production activities
• Plan and schedule workloads across operatives and machinery
• Oversee stock control, purchasing, and supplier coordination
• Ensure high standards of health & safety and provide staff training
• Maintain and improve quality control systems
• Plan preventative and reactive maintenance
• Coordinate transport and logistics
Requirements:
• Must have previous supervisory experience
• Proven experience in a manufacturing/production environment
• Hands-on experience setting and running machinery
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Confident communicator with the ability to liaise with suppliers and customers
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• IT literate
Working Hours
• Monday- Friday, 7.30am- 4.30pm
