Key Responsibilities
Property Disposals and Acquisitions
- Lead the disposal of surplus land and property assets through sale, lease, transfer or redevelopment opportunities.
- Manage property acquisition projects to support service delivery, regeneration and investment objectives.
- Prepare property disposal strategies and recommendations for senior management and elected members.
- Negotiate terms and conditions for property transactions to secure best value outcomes.
Valuation and Estates Management
- Undertake valuations for disposals, acquisitions, leasing and asset management purposes.
- Provide professional advice on market values, rental assessments and property transactions.
- Manage a diverse property portfolio, ensuring assets are utilised effectively and generate optimum value.
- Oversee landlord and tenant matters including lease renewals, rent reviews and licence agreements.
