Production Operatives to work in
Ellesmere (SY12 9BL) with
free company transport provided from Battlefield Road, Shrewsbury (SY1 4AH).
The rate of pay is
£13.59 per hour, with overtime paid at
£17.00 per hour.
No previous experience is necessary as full training is provided, making this a great opportunity for candidates looking for long-term employment, career progression and the potential to secure a permanent role.
Please note this role involves working in a
chilled food production environment and handling
raw beef products.
Shift Pattern
Day Shift
- 7:00am to 3:30pm
- Sunday fixed rest day
- One rotating rest day during the week
- Monday to Saturday operation
Applicants must be able to commit to the full shift pattern, including regular Saturday working.
Free Transport Available
The site is easily accessible via the free company transport service departing from
Battlefield Road, Shrewsbury, SY1 4AH.
- Bus departs at 6:00am
- Approximate journey time: 30 minutes each way
- Return transport provided after shift
- Arrival back in Shrewsbury approximately 4:15pm to 4:30pm
Travel time is unpaid.
Your Time at Work
As a Production Operative, you will work within a busy chilled food production environment processing beef into a range of products including burgers, meatballs and mince.
Your duties may include:
- Processing food products
- Packing products ready for distribution
- Quality checking finished products
- Working as part of a production team
- Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards
Due to the nature of the role, you should be comfortable working with raw meat products and be physically capable of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
