Your New Company

A highly regarded regional housebuilder is seeking an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join a busy new-build housing development in Burneside, Kendal. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established site team and play a key role in delivering a high-quality residential scheme.

Your New Role

As Assistant Site Manager, you will support the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of the development, ensuring work is delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.

Duties will include:

Managing subcontractors and site labour

Supporting health & safety compliance across site

Carrying out inductions, inspections and toolbox talks

Assisting with quality checks and snagging

Monitoring progress against programme

Maintaining site records and documentation

Supporting the delivery of plots through to completion

What You'll Need to Succeed

Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager on new-build housing projects

SMSTS or SSSTS

Valid CSCS Card

First Aid at Work

Strong health & safety knowledge

Good communication and organisational skills

Volume housebuilding experience preferred
