Year 6 Teacher

The role:

Full teaching responsibility for a Year 6 class
Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the Upper KS2 curriculum
Preparing pupils for end-of-key-stage assessments and their transition to secondary school
Assessing, monitoring, and supporting pupil progress
Creating a positive, inclusive, and purposeful classroom environment
Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff

The ideal candidate will:

Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Have experience teaching within Upper Key Stage 2
Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Have a good understanding of Year 6 expectations and assessment requirements
Be committed to raising attainment and achieving excellent outcomes for pupils
Be enthusiastic, organised, and dedicated to high-quality teaching and learning
