English Teacher

The role:

Teaching English across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential for Key Stage 5
Planning and delivering engaging lessons that develop students' literacy, analytical, and communication skills
Assessing, monitoring, and supporting student progress
Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
Contributing to the wider success of the English department

The ideal candidate will:

Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Have experience teaching English within a secondary setting
Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for English
Be an effective classroom practitioner with excellent behaviour management skills
Be committed to helping students achieve their full potential
Be enthusiastic, organised, and dedicated to high standards of teaching and learning
