This is an excellent opportunity for a housing professional looking to join a busy and supportive housing team, assisting with the delivery of high-quality tenancy and housing management services on a 3-month contract.
Your new role
- Providing day-to-day operational support to the Housing Management team.
- Acting as a first point of contact for tenants and customers, handling queries and requests professionally.
- Supporting the management of tenancy records, applications, transfers and allocations.
- Assisting with rent arrears and general income collection activities.
- Arranging appointments, preparing correspondence and maintaining accurate housing records.
- Supporting neighbourhood inspections, estate management tasks and customer engagement activities.
- Liaising with internal departments and external agencies to ensure excellent customer service.
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in a Housing Assistant, Housing Officer or similar housing role.
- Experience working within a housing association or local authority environment.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Ability to manage a varied workload and work effectively within a busy team.
- Experience using housing management systems would be advantageous.
