£22.23 per hour after 8 hours worked (Monday to Friday) (Holiday Pay Accrued) / £24.91 per hour (Holiday Pay Included)

£22.23 per hour Saturdays (Holiday Pay Accrued) / £24.91 per hour (Holiday Pay Included)

£29.64 per hour Sundays & Bank Holidays (Holiday Pay Accrued) / £33.22 per hour (Holiday Pay Included)

Holiday Pay

You can choose to have your holiday pay accrued and paid when you take annual leave, or receive it as rolled-up holiday pay within your regular wages. The rolled-up rate includes the applicable 12.07% holiday pay uplift.

The Best Connection is proud to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Class 2 (Category C) Driver to join a well-established distribution business based in Doncaster. This is a fantastic opportunity for drivers seeking ongoing work with a long-standing and reliable client.

About the Role

Drivers will be responsible for completing multi-drop deliveries to customers' homes. There may also be occasions where drivers are required to operate a 7.5T vehicle, depending on operational requirements.

Your Duties Will Include:

Completing vehicle checks at the start and end of each shift

Carrying out multi-drop deliveries to customers' homes

Maintaining good communication with the transport team and client

Ensuring all paperwork, including timesheets, is completed accurately

Emailing all paperwork and timesheets by the end of shift on Saturday

Demonstrating excellent timekeeping and reliability

Representing The Best Connection and the client professionally at all times

What We're Looking For:

Valid Category C (Class 2) Driving Licence

Valid Driver CPC Qualification

Digital Tachograph (Digi) Card

Minimum 2 years' continuous driving experience with no gaps

A reliable, flexible and professional approach to work
