Summary

The College for National Security provides learning across the Civil Service and wider public sector about the threats faced by the UK and the actions needed to counter them. To respond, we need a workforce that is knowledgeable, experienced and connected.

The college is part of Government Skills and is closely tied to the National Security Secretariat. Its aim is to build responsiveness and effectiveness in the National Security practitioner community and to support other professions to learn more about national security.

This Curriculum Officer role plays a pivotal role in the end-to-end design, delivery, and administration of the College’s curriculum. Operating in a fast-paced environment, the successful candidate will blend creative design with robust operational management. They will create engaging blended and digital learning resources (ensuring accessibility compliance), support face-to-face and virtual facilitation, evaluate training impact through data analysis, and manage the Learning Management System (LMS). This role requires a proactive problem-solver who can manage multiple projects independently while maintaining high-quality customer service.

At the College for National Security, our mission is to foster innovation, collaboration, and excellence in national security. We know that achieving this requires a workplace culture where everyone can bring their authentic selves to work.
