Location: Mablethorpe, a few miles from Sutton-on-Sea, Lincolnshire (LN12)
Pay: £100 – £120 per day
Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm, Tuesday to Friday (4 days a week), term time only
Contract: Temporary, ongoing (temp to perm potential)

Luma Education Recruitment is recruiting an SEN Learning Support Assistant for a primary academy a short drive from Sutton-on-Sea on the Lincolnshire coast. The role is 1:1 support for a Year 4 pupil with autism, paying £100 to £120 per day, Tuesday to Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm. You'll help the pupil access lessons, communicate what they need and become more independent, working with the class teacher and SENCo. Starts ASAP, ongoing.
About the Academy
An inclusive primary academy in Mablethorpe serving the surrounding coastal villages, with pupils aged 4 to 11 and a team of support staff working alongside class teachers.
The Role
- Providing 1:1 learning support for a Year 4 pupil with autism
- Breaking lessons into short, manageable steps
- Using visuals and simple, consistent language to support communication
- Building the pupil's independence with everyday routines
- Encouraging the pupil to join in with group work and play
- Recording progress towards EHCP outcomes
What You'll Need
- Experience as a learning support assistant, TA, nursery worker or carer
- Patience and clear communication with children and adults
- Availability Tuesday to Friday, term time
- An SEN or TA qualification is welcome but not essential
