Summary

Position: TIG WelderShifts: Monday to Friday daysPay: £16phOur client is looking for a TIG Welder to join their team on a permanent basis. The shift pattern at this company are Monday to Thursday 7:30am-3:30pm and then on a Friday it will be a 3pm finish.About the company:This company is a bespoke aqueous washing machine manufacturer in Tewkesbury. They design and manufacture machines to customer specific requirements.Key responsibilities:Your role will be to read technical drawings and fabricate pipe runs for delivering wash medium to process chambers from storage tanks and managing pipe stock levels. You will need to mostly work with 304 and 316 stainless steels using the supplied TIG welding equipment and be capable of TIG 6G. We are a small team and as such you will be reporting directly to the Production Foreman and the Head of Engineering. You will be expected to carry out your duties with a knowledge of safe working practice, and operate in a professional and timely manner.Qualifications and Skills:Relevant experience with TIG welding of Stainless Steel.Good communication skills.The successful candidate will be required to perform a welding sampleWhat is offered:Hours to be max 37hr/week. Part time will be considered for the right candidate.Holiday 22 days with an increase of 0.5 days upon completion of each Calander years’ service, up 27 days.3 month trial period£16/hr.
