This is a role where quality workmanship, care and pride in what you do will help impact a better future.

What you’ll do as a Maintenance Craftsperson (Joiner)

- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance activities across the hospital estate.

- Perform fire compartmentation surveys and undertake remedial works to support statutory compliance.

- Use the Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) system to record completed work, update maintenance records and manage task information.

- Work collaboratively within a multi-skilled estates team to deliver an efficient maintenance service while adhering to health, safety and environmental procedures.

Does this sound like you?

- Completed a recognised craft apprenticeship and hold a relevant NVQ Level 3, City and Guilds qualification or equivalent in Joinery, Carpentry or Woodworking.

- Experience carrying out maintenance and repair activities across a diverse building estate.

- Good understanding of health and safety requirements and safe systems of work.

- Able to work independently, solve problems effectively and manage changing priorities.
