Summary

Job Title: Test Analyst

Southern Soft Limited is seeking a full-time Test Analyst who is proficient in Manual / Automation / ETL / CRM Testing. The ideal candidate will participate in all aspects of Southern Soft’s current projects. Primary responsibilities include performing a variety of tasks related to QA and SDLC / STLC / Agile / Scrum process.

Job Role and Responsibilities:

• Involve working throughout the full testing life cycle from a hands-on perspective, within an Agile/Scrum environment and will be responsible for owning and directing the Test Automation process.

• Will be responsible for developing a Test Automation Framework using Playwright, Selenium Web Driver and managing its implementation and on-going use.

• Support the creation of test strategies, estimates, scenarios, plans, test outcome reports. Support test execution for technical test phases, resolution of issues and problem identification.

• Develop and maintain automated regression test suites to improve test coverage and execution efficiency.

• Review, understand and summarize the results of testing, highlighting arising issues and recommendations for remediation.

• Communicates and works with managerial, administrative, and Development Team to determine information needs, data flows, and system definitions and document these requirements.

• Develop the test plan for the tasks, dependencies and participants required to mitigate the risks to system quality and obtain stakeholder support for this plan.

• To help develop the QA team by continually improving processes.

• Write complex SQL queries for retrieval of required data using TOAD or SQL Plus.

• Ability to execute all phases of the testing process in a multi-server environment.
