Summary

For further information on this role, please see the attached detailed Job Description and Person Specification: Work collaboratively, within the multidisciplinary team, to create a safe patient environment in which the complex needs of patients with cancer receiving SACT are met. Promote, and facilitate, the education of patients on SACT, including its side effects, to empower patients to escalate side effects timely and safely. Practice within Trust protocols, including those for clinical trials, and support junior colleagues to also practice within such guidelines. Lead the recognition of signs of a deteriorating patient and assist junior colleagues to respond promptly to signs. Utilise advanced time-management and prioritisation skills to manage the demands of a busy environment with a high caseload and support junior colleagues in also meeting demands.
