Your new company

A new opportunity has arisen for a Senior Accountant to join an SME-focused accountancy firm with a varied client base and a consultative approach. The firm is located in Staffordshire and has a growing client portfolio and focusses on supporting clients with their growth strategies.

Your new role

In this role you will support a range of businesses with accounts preparation, reviewing the work of more junior members of the team and meeting and liaising with clients to support them with problem-solving, enabling them to achieve their goals. You'll use the experience gained to date within accountancy practice to understand your clients, provide tailored accounting services and develop long-lasting relationships. There may also be opportunities to support more senior members of the team with advisory work.

What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate for this role will possess good technical accounting knowledge gained within practice and excellent communication skills.

Relevant accounting qualifications (AAT/ ACCA/ ACA) would be preferred, however, those who are qualified by experience and have the appropriate knowledge would also be considered.
