Hays Education work with a range of primary schools across Coventry and surrounding areas. We are looking to speak with EYFS teachers interested in supply work.

We support schools with day-to-day cover as well as longer-term requirements, including maternity leave, sickness cover and fixed-term roles. Whether you are looking for occasional days, regular weekly work or a longer-term position, we can help find opportunities that suit your availability.

Your new role

As an EYFS Supply Teacher, you will work within Reception or nursery classes across a variety of Coventry primary schools.

Day-to-day supply gives you the flexibility to choose when you work and gain experience in different settings. If you prefer greater consistency, we can also support you with longer-term EYFS roles where you can settle into a school and take on wider teaching responsibilities.

What you'll need to succeed

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Recent experience teaching within EYFS

Good knowledge of the EYFS framework

An understanding of early learning, assessment and continuous provision

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

A warm, adaptable and professional approach
