Summary

To be plain from the start: this is self-employed work paid by commission with no wage, and it is not the dog-walking role we also advertise. We want two experienced dog trainers around Greater Manchester, such as Chorlton, Didsbury, Altrincham or Prestwich.

WoofWalk is a UK booking app for dog owners. We are not an employer. Owners find a trainer in the app, book a session and pay there, and your earnings are paid out to your bank. You choose your own prices and working hours. We cannot guarantee any bookings or income.

One limit you must know about: only one-to-one sessions can be booked. Group classes, courses and online sessions are not possible through WoofWalk at the moment. If most of your work is a class in a hall, this will be a small addition.

When a session ends you can write a training report with homework, and the owner reads it in the app. Trainers can add their qualifications to their profile and upload certificates for WoofWalk to check. Say which methods you use; owners like to know before they book.

Not every problem is a training problem. Serious aggression needs a qualified behaviourist or a vet, so say what you can help with and refer the rest.

The search does not filter by area yet, so check the address on each request and decline one you cannot reach, for instance Stockport when you work in Salford.

Joining costs nothing. The first 14 days have no commission, then 15%, dropping to 10% for life when five of your own clients have joined through you. You pay your own tax, National Insurance and insurance. Over 18. Apply on Find a Job with your experience or qualifications and the areas you cover. We will send the set-up guide.
