- Provide dedicated one-to-one support for a pupil with SEND

- Help the pupil access learning and engage positively in classroom activities

- Work closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to implement support strategies

- Support the pupil's academic, social, and emotional development

- Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs

- Encourage independence, confidence, and positive behaviour

- Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff

- Essential: Previous SEND experience

- Experience supporting children with additional learning needs such as ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, or learning difficulties

- Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is beneficial but not required

- Patient, caring, and adaptable approach

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents

- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
