Summary
Assistant Accountant
Salary: £36,000 Per Annum
Luton, Head Office
Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:30
What you will be doing:
Support the Finance Manager with improving financial processes and systems, maintaining accurate financial records, performing reconciliations, supporting month-end activities and ensuring effective financial controls
Build strong relationships and work closely with internal departments to provide financial insight and assistance with operational projects and improvements
Monitor outstanding debtors to reduce aged debt and improve debtor days performance
Support administration of the company's expenses system and related processes
Who we are looking for:
- Approximately 2-3 years' experience in a finance or accounting environment
- Part-qualified ACCA or CIMA student
- Strong understanding of accounting and bookkeeping principles
- Experience using Microsoft Copilot, AI tools, Power Automate or other productivity technologies (Desirable)
