The role

As Customer Service Advisor, you’ll be a key point of contact for customers, handling enquiries and orders by telephone and email. What you’ll be doing

Responding to customer enquiries by phone and email in a friendly and professional manner.

Processing customer orders accurately and within agreed timescales.

Checking stock availability, delivery dates and order requirements, and keeping customers informed.

Maintaining accurate customer details, order records and supporting documentation.

Providing product information and referring more complex or technical queries to the right colleague.

Helping with delivery queries, returns, collections, invoices, credits and refunds as required.

Preparing order or export paperwork where needed.

Working collaboratively with colleagues to resolve issues and provide cover during busy periods.

What we’re looking for

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Good written English and numeracy.

Strong attention to detail and accurate administration skills.

Confidence using office software, including Word and Excel.

Good organisation skills and the ability to manage your workload.

A positive, practical approach to problem-solving and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.

A willingness to learn about products, systems and procedures.

Working hours

22.5 hours per week, with a one-hour lunch break. Further details about the working pattern can be discussed during the recruitment process.

Interested? If you have a customer-focused approach, enjoy being organised and want to be part of a supportive team, Elite Personnel would love to hear from you. Apply today to find out more.

Please note: We will require a copy of your UK right to work documentation before an application can be progressed.

Due to the unprecedented volume of response we are currently receiving regrettably we are no longer able to respond to every application individually. If you have not heard back from us within 48 hours, please assume your application for this role has been unsuccessful. We do read each CV carefully and if the situation changes or another potentially suitable role becomes active, we will be back in contact.
