Summary
TeacherActive is proud to be working with secondary schools across Derby who are looking for a confident and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor. These schools are committed to providing positive learning environments where students are encouraged to achieve their potential and develop their confidence.
The Cover Supervisor will initially work on a day-to-day basis, with the possibility of securing long-term positions within local secondary schools. The successful Cover Supervisor will supervise classes across KS3 and KS4, deliver pre-planned lessons, manage classroom behaviour and ensure students remain focused and engaged with their learning.
The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

A relevant qualification or degree is desirable
•
Experience working with children or young people in a secondary school setting
•
Experience supervising groups of students or supporting classroom learning
•
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
•
Strong communication and organisational skills
•
A confident, flexible and adaptable approach
