Summary

We are representing a reputable independent fleet repair specialist based in Gloucester, seeking an experienced MOT Technician to join their modern, well-equipped workshop. Duties of a MOT Technician:

- Diagnosing, repairing, and servicing a variety of light commercial and retail vehicles

- Preparing vehicles for MOT tests and conducting class 4, 5, and 7 MOT inspections

- Performing MOT repairs and rectifications

- Conducting technical diagnostics using specialist equipment

- Completing all relevant vehicle records and documentation

- Responding to vehicle breakdowns promptly

- Carrying out cambelt and clutch replacements where necessary

Requirements of a MOT Technician:

- IMI/NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair

- At least 1-2 years’ practical experience as a Vehicle Technician

- Valid MOT license, preferably with Class 4, 5, and 7 qualifications

- Clean UK driving license

- Motivated, team-oriented attitude

- Experience with fleet repairs, welding, or fabrication is advantageous but not essential
