Summary

Are you an experienced administrator with automotive industry knowledge? Our client, a leading franchise-approved commercial vehicle dealership in Newport, is seeking a Vehicle Warranty Administrator to join their team. This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary and excellent career development opportunities.

- Starting salary approximately £31,000 per annum, dependent on experience

- Working hours from 8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, with no weekends

Duties:

- Preparing warranty claims for submission to manufacturers and ensuring timely payments

- Checking and reconciling weekly statements, querying overdue or discrepancies in claims

- Ensuring all documentation complies with manufacturer guidelines and is accurately completed

- Preparing invoices and warranty claims in line with departmental standards

- Managing open time and job card write-ups effectively as the Warranty Administrator

- Handling policy claims swiftly, ensuring correct customer reimbursements

- Maintaining control over displaced material returned to manufacturers as the Warranty Administrator

- Reconciling warranty credits accurately and addressing discrepancies promptly

- Developing strong relationships with colleagues and customers to facilitate smooth operations

Requirements:

- Previous experience in an administrative role within the automotive industry preferred

- Knowledge of vehicle warranty processes and documentation

- Strong organisational skills, capable of managing conflicting demands and prioritising tasks

- Excellent interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with colleagues and customers

- Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure as the Warranty Administrator

- Live within a reasonable commuting distance of Newport

- A UK driving licence with minimal points
