This is an excellent opportunity for motivated engineers who enjoy working independently, managing their workloads and delivering a high standard of service across multiple commercial sites.

- Water treatment systems.

- Undertake routine inspections, testing and servicing of building services equipment.

- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs across mechanical and/or electrical systems within the scope of your qualifications and experience.

- Respond to reactive maintenance requests and ensure issues are resolved efficiently.

- Identify potential equipment failures and recommend remedial action where necessary.

- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health and safety regulations, relevant industry standards and site procedures.

- Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports and job sheets.

- Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients and building management teams.

- Travel between sites across London, predominantly within Zones 1 and 2, with occasional coverage across Zones 1–6.

Essential Requirements

- Ideally, a minimum of 3 years' experience in a mechanical or electrical maintenance engineering role.

- Skilled in either a mechanical or electrical discipline, with preference given to candidates experienced in both.

- Previous experience working within commercial buildings or office environments.

- Good working knowledge of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance procedures.

- Experience maintaining and fault-finding on relevant building services equipment, such as HVAC plant, FCUs, AHUs, emergency lighting, fire alarms or water treatment systems.

- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills within your relevant discipline.

- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively and prioritise workloads.

- Must live within a reasonable commuting distance of London and be able to travel across the required zones.

Qualifications

- City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical qualification highly desirable.

- Relevant mechanical qualifications or practical experience would be advantageous.

- Additional building services or maintenance-related certifications are beneficial.

Salary & Benefits

- £40,000–£45,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
