This is an exciting opportunity to shape how customers experience this organisation across media, exhibitions, showrooms and digital channels. As a Brand Marketing Specialist, you will develop integrated marketing activity that builds awareness, generates high-quality leads and supports business growth across residential and commercial markets.

The marketing function plays an important role in creating exceptional customer experiences, strengthening brand consideration and helping customers understand its solutions. You will join a collaborative marketing environment, working with colleagues across Sales, Product Management, Training, Corporate and Sales Planning. You will also manage relationships with media agencies, event organisers, technology partners and other external suppliers.

Your new role

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will develop and optimise the brand experience through media, events, showrooms and customer communications.

You will plan and improve integrated media campaigns across online and offline channels, including always-on lead generation activity. Your focus will be on increasing brand awareness, customer engagement, lead quality, conversion and return on investment.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and optimising online and offline media campaigns
  • Managing lead generation and nurturing programmes across the customer journey
  • Developing customer journey and conversion strategies
  • Delivering exhibitions, events and engaging brand activations
  • Coordinating event communications, logistics and lead follow-up
  • Developing showrooms, demonstration spaces and experience environments
  • Supporting Sustainable Home Centres and partner experience locations
  • Creating end-user communications, content plans, newsletters and marketing assets
  • Delivering targeted customer engagement and marketing automation campaigns
  • Monitoring campaign performance, lead generation, conversion and return on investment
  • Managing project budgets, purchase orders, supplier records and financial processes
  • Ensuring marketing data is managed in accordance with GDPR requirements

You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure every project reflects the organisation's brand values, key messages and strategic objectives.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be an experienced, customer-focused marketing professional with a strong background in marketing communications and digital marketing. You will be comfortable managing several projects simultaneously and delivering results in a busy, pressured environment.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least five years' experience in a marketing and/or communications role
  • Experience of working within a technical product sector
  • Proven experience across marketing communications and digital marketing
  • Knowledge of direct marketing, channel marketing and lead generation
  • Experience of organising events, exhibitions or brand activations
  • Strong project management and budget management skills
  • The ability to manage agencies, suppliers, venues and event partners
  • An understanding of market trends and changing customer needs
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accurate, relevant communications
  • The ability to work independently and deliver measurable results
  • A degree in business, marketing or a relevant vocational equivalent

Membership of the Chartered Institute of Marketing would be desirable but is not essential.

Experience with platforms such as Salesforce, SAP CRM, Dotdigital, Formstack, Adobe Experience Manager, Adobe Creative Suite, SharePoint, SurveyMonkey or CrowdComms may also support your success in the position.

What you'll get in return

This is offered as a 12-month Fixed Term Contract to cover maternity, with a salary range of £42,000 - £52,000 per annum.

Other benefits include (but are not limited to) hybrid working (3 days on-site), 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays), the option to buy or sell up to 5 days annual leave, private medical insurance and pension.
