💼ROLE: QHSE Advisor
🕐HOURS: Monday to Friday - 40 hours
📍LOCATION: HM Naval Base - Rosyth - Forthview House
We are seeking a proactive QHSE Advisor who is ready to make a real difference! You'll be part of the driving force behind ensuring our operations on FDIS are conducted safely and efficiently, and you'll be a key member of an expert QHSE support team, identifying and minimising risks related to accidents and implementing strategies to reduce risk.
Role Responsibilities:
-You will primarily be responsible for assisting the QHSE Manager in ensuring that Mitie operations are carried out in a safe and efficient manner,
-Provide expert QHSE and CDM support to operational and project teams,
-Implement the integrated business management system; ensuring a robust and efficient system is maintained, which complies with the requirements of the business and third-party quality, health, safety and environmental accreditations,
-Identifying and minimising the risk of accidents to persons, property or the environment, supporting all parts of the QHSE function,
-Performing investigations, meetings, audits and training,
-You are required to be actively involved in visiting various sites across Scotland and Northern Ireland to ensure staff & contractor compliance with agreed safe systems of work and risk controls,
What we're looking for:
-Level 3 H&S qualification, NEBOSH or NVQ Level 3,
-Experience working in a Facilities Management or Construction environment - desirable,
-Be comfortable with attending site meeting and site travel,
-Remain flexible and be able to prioritise day to day management and support for the contract,
