## Key Responsibilities
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness across designated healthcare areas.
- Clean bedrooms, communal areas, bathrooms, offices, and other allocated spaces.
- Follow cleaning schedules and established hygiene procedures.
- Comply with infection prevention and control guidelines.
- Use cleaning products and equipment safely and appropriately.
- Dispose of waste in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.
- Replenish cleaning supplies when required.
- Identify and report hazards, maintenance issues, or health and safety concerns.
- Work professionally with healthcare staff to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
- Respect the privacy, dignity, and confidentiality of patients and service users.
## Essential Requirements
- **PMVA training – Mandatory**
- **Updated DBS – Mandatory**
- Valid right to work in the UK.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
## Desirable Experience
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience.
- Experience in a hospital, healthcare setting, or care home.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and infection prevention and control.
## Shift Patterns and Availability
- Flexible day shifts.
- Long-day shifts.
- Potential block bookings, subject to availability.
- Opportunities across multiple locations, depending on staffing requirements.
